On rainy weekends...

This past weekend was very relaxed, even if it did come about as a result to doctor's orders. I've had a cough for over a week now, and so on Friday I went to the doctor and got prescribed antibiotics and a lovely (not!) cough syrup with codeine. It's the second time I take that syrup in a year and it's effects are the same, curative but it will not make me drowsy, at all. Saturday night I was up until 4 am tooling around with my computer. The doctor (hehehe, how I wish he were David Tennant) specifically prescribed it so that I could sleep at night without waking up constantly in coughing fits. Oh well, anything to prevent bronchitis, even if that stuff does taste disgusting.

I watched a few episodes of Doctor Who, and even though I am still in the first series with Christopher Eccleston, I've already peeked at the eps with David Tennant, specifically the episode with his girlfriend Sophia Myles. She will now be replacing Shannon Lucio in the new CBS show "Moonlight" with my beloved Jason Dohring. (Wow, all roads lead to VM)

Yesterday I watched "Gone with the wind" with my mom and my aunt. I love that movie, it might be 4 hours long but I love it. How in the world Scarlett could like Ashley over Rhett is beyond me. I love that name, Rhett. If anybody ever saw Disney's "Bug Juice", there was a camp counselor there with that name. I met a friend of his at a tennis tournament and he made me speak with Rhett after we had been discussing camps, it was quite embarrasing, lol. My mom and aunt quite liked our movie time, now they want to watch Casablanca next Sunday, we'll see.

So that's what I did this past rainy weekend, watched tv, long movies and slept a lot of course, just not when I was supposed to. I actually liked all this rain, it reminded me of home, as it rains a lot in the summer in Miami. I hear rain wasn't so kind in England, I hope everything gets better there soon.
