Why do some people always wait until the last minute to RSVP to functions when they've had invitations for weeks? In the past two weeks we've had two family get together and both times my mom has called me from work the DAY of the deadline and asked me to RSVP for our family.
Luckily, I was able to get through for the first one (which was last weekend) and one of our cousins did it for us for the second one (next weekend). Talk about dodging a bullet.
For some reason she always waits until the last minute to get things done but always complains about not having enough time to do the things she needs to get done.
Then she stresses me out because she needs help getting it all done on time. And usually it's when I have a deadline of my own to meet. Thankfully, they didn't overlap this time. Here's hoping they don't do it again anytime soon.
