Cosplay
So I'm taking on a rather adventurous amount of cosplay this year. Adventurous on account of I haven't started working on any of my costumes yet and my free time has been very limited lately. So if I keep having this little free time until NDK, I'm going to have to utilize all of it to get these projects done.
AND SO I AM POSTING MY TO DO LIST HERE
Because the more people I tell I'm going to do this, the more likely it is to happen.
So, first we have a list of the costumes I'm planning and a check list of elements I need to work on for each one. (I will be editing this as I get things completed)

[_] Attach fluffy white fur to coat
[X] Black button-down shirt
[X] Black pants
[_] Obtain Pointy-ish brown shoes
[_] Fake cigarette
Bugaboo
[X] Dye many many Ace bandages red or obtain similar red strips
[X] Obtain black shirt and black capri pants
[_] Attach red strips to black shirt and capris
[_] Obtain/make diaper thing
[_] Construct mask
[_] Head cover
[_] Make ears
[_] Black arms/hands
[_] Wings
[_] Tail

I already have this costume from last year, I just need to fix a few things for it this year and locate a few things that got packed into boxes somewhere when I moved.

[_] Style new wig
[_] Button holes
[_] New sash thingy
[X] Make metal belt thing shorter
[X] Locate necklaces
[X] Locate ring
[_] Find adequate fake nail adhesive
Foreseeable Difficulties:
Doc Worth - The hair. I don't really want to cut my hair that short, but they don't make short enough wigs either. I'm open to ideas for this one.
Bugaboo - 1) The arms/hands. Unless anyone knows of a good way to color my arms black that's not likely to rub off on my costume and everything I touch, I may have to resort to long gloves. I highly doubt I have the skill to make some so I'm going to have to search everywhere to find some that will work. Preferably something sheer as I have a feeling this is going to be a fairly hot costume
2) The mask. At first I was thinking of making this out of paper mache, but then I realized that since it lacks a distinguishable nose, that might not be a good idea. Now I'm thinking I should find some lighter material so it'll be less uncomfortable against my nose. My next thought is to use that foam board thing I've used for other stuff in the past, but it lacks that shiny surface and the horns will be reeeeaaaally difficult to make from it. I'm thinking a trip to Micheal's Crafts just to look around and see what else they have may be in order.
Undertaker - Button holes. I've never done button holes before.
Also.
In the event that I get all or at least 90% of that done by the end of August, I will then spend the remaining time in September working on my entry for the model contest.
Though after careful consideration, I've decided that Epyon is too difficult to make for this year, so I'm going try and make Deathscythe Hell Custom instead.
