BART! OH NOES!!
Ok, haven't posted in forever, due mainly to the fact that I don't have a regular comics shop any more. And the local Borders is only a Baby!Borders and doesn't order any of my usual pull list except for Teen Titans. So I've been picking that up sporadically along with Infinite Crisis, just so's to have some notion as to what is going on. And a much as I want my LSH fix, after reading I.C. #4 my most pressing concern is to get my paws on the current issues of The Flash and hope there is an explanation within.
As big a fan I am of Max Mercury, when he and Barry showed up, my immediate reaction was "NO BART! Don't listen to him! He's the tough-love type and makes you learn things the hard way! TURN AROUND ZIPPY! DON'T GO INTO THE LIGHT!! NOOOOOES!!" etc. flail. etc.
And then I thought about it. They just killed off half a dozen Titans in as many panels. They blew up Bludhaven a couple pages before, that supposedly being kaputz for tens of thousands. Heck, they even beat up Kripto the Super-dog.
Intuitively Obvious:
Shenanigans.
They're finally dishing out the Legion-style Reboot!wackiness to the DCU at large. I'm betting "One Year Later" Bart is back and at 'em with a newly improved ie. confounded backstory.
Hope he gets to be a Legionnaire. I mean, why the hell not, if Supergirl gets to…
In related news, I really really need a Bart icon. For now, the above mentioned heroine with her paws on a certain green genius will have to do.
