30 Days of Music (Day 22)
Day 22: Your favorite song from a movie.
Now unlike the last one I HAVE been looking forward to this one. Get ready for my vid spam babay
Since I can't really pick just one, I'm going to break it into a couple different categories.
** From a Disney movie: One Jump Ahead (Street Rat) from Aladdin
** Other animated movie: Once Upon A December from Anastasia - unfortunately I can't find a good video/song quality of this on youtube. Mayhaps I didn't search hard enough, but I want the one from the movie not the soundtrack, and while I love the Russian version, I wanted English. No covers or karaoke. *sigh* Why must there be so much crap on youtube?
** From a musical: West Side Story
1) One Hand, One Heart
2) Gee, Officer Krupke (it's just too witty) "Didn't you hear me?" "Yes, sir, I got 20/20 hearing."
** And of course Santa Fe from Newsies (Oh,Jack Kelly! I mean ... Christian Bale!! <3)
** And if we're going to get into scores, then I'd have to say I really dug the hell out of Clint Mansell's score for the movie Moon - particularly 'I'm Sam Bell, Too,' 'We're Going Home,' and 'Memories (Someone We'll Never Know).'
