"SPN fandom" and "SPN cast fandom of SPN fandom"

Also: This is apparently old news but I just found it so it's new news (heh) for me - We know that fans AND the cast asked several times to get JDM back on Supernatural and that JDM said he would like to return too. He actually said in an interview that he WILL call up Kripke and co. to ask about it.
He actually DID ask them and THEY REFUSED!!! O.o
When the execs were asked about it on ComicCon and such they always said it's hard to book JDM and stuff since he's an actual movie star and busy and blahblahblah, excuses, excuses but when JDM HIMSELF asks and they REFUSE?!
WTF?! Even if he would just appear in a flashback or something I would be over the moon!
There is no excuse for that, none.
P.S.: Heater still works, there will might be a revolution of some kind in my country soon and I almost pissed myself laughing over the gym shorts ceremony :-D
