So,it's finally 2005!!!!!The first New Year that I didn't really spent with my family. I went to a party that started at 8pm. Stayed there till 10pm ( and believe me ,I could have left sooner), then went to the Commons for the New Year's concert which prolly was the most boring concert I have ever seen in my life. No fireworks , no nothing. I thought in Boston there would be more organization about the holidays, but I bet if I went to Albania I would have had so much more fun. Even my grandmother said that. We were walking Downtown, and all you could see were patheticly drunk college kids, who have nothing better to do, but get themselves wasted. So ridiculous!!! So anyway, after getting immensly bored from the city of Boston New Year Eve's celebration ( aka..ppl getting drunk, smoking weed and what not)I almost broke my neck from my mini ice-skating "show".So at 1:00am Elton (Alb kid) suggested we go to Sullivan Square, so I specifically asked the MBTA man till what time the trains were gonna be running and he said "till there will be ppl". So we decided to go since there were plenty of people out. So we go to Sullivan Square, and we heard some people saying that that was the last train!!!!!, which meant that we couldn't get back to Downtown. We took the last bus that went to Haymarket and walked from there to Downtown. By this time it was already 2am. We hadn't eaten anything so we went to a Seven Eleven store, where we were approached by another drunk guy who was telling us that ppl are pathetic, so I guess even the drunk dude agreed with me that day. The funny thing is that he heard us  speak Albanian with each other, and he asked where we were from, so we said China, and he was so drunk that he actually believed us when we were faking Chinese with each other. eh Alcohol can do many funny things.. So after getting chips and talking to drunk ppl and to the french policeman we decided that we better start our two hour walk home. We couldn't even call our parents. The parents of the kids we went out with were all in Foxbury (however you spell that) at the Albanian New year's party, and my dad didn't even know how to get to where we were by car. So you can picture the rest. The whole "journey" was spent asking for directions, telling jokes, taking off our shoes cause our feet would hurt, and searches for a bathroom so Viola could go to, haha which was actually funny. We arrived home at 5 and both doors were closed. Of course we didn't want to ring the bell. First, cause we were afraid our parents would kill us, and we didn't want to wake up everybody. So, I went to mu room's window, thank God I live on the 1st floor and the window wasn't closed. So while I was halfway going in thru the window , my mom comes in. She wasn't really as mad as i thought she would be, after we explained to her that there were no trains and we had to walk. Yep, so that was New Year's Eve. If you want to know how the party really went , you'll have to ask me personally, cause i don't want to get anyone in trouble!!! HAPPY 2005 TO EVERYONE
