Well, once again I am doing the whole diet thing. I started on Monday. My mom is doing it with me this time though. Maybe that will be that change that I need; having a buddy. I also have an accountability partner. Although I love my friends, none of them ever remembered about our commitment. So I came across a site for weight loss buddies. I found a girl with similar weight loss goals/problems with dieting that I have and we email each other a couple times a day. I really like talking with her and getting her insight. She's around my age and we both want to lose the same amount of weight. If only she lived here and we could get together to work out! This is my 3 day at it. It's going well so far. I craved pizza for the first day for some reason. I made myself some spicy veggie soup (my own recipe) for dinner though. Yesterday I was out shopping with my mom and we had lunch at Panera. I got some soup in a bread bowl. Yeah, looking back now I know that was a stupid choice but it wasn't a total diet killer. It actually boosted my vegetable and protein for the day and I ended up staying well within what I should be. I use an online food tracker. It takes into consideration your height/weight and how much you weigh and what you're looking to lose. It calculates the amount of calories, fat, carbs, protein, etc that I should be getting daily and weekly.
I'm also looking to just be more active. I've been pretty lazy since coming home. My sleep schedule is all off. I was going to bed at 6am and sleeping till 3pm. I've already started working on that. Tuesday I tried to go to bed early and I fell asleep by 1:45am. The bad thing is though that I woke up at 3:50am completely awake and stayed awake till that afternoon and took a nap. Last night I fell asleep at about 3am and woke up around 11am. Not perfect but it's a start! I also made a list of all the t.v. shows I like. I'm going to stick to their schedule and try not to watch too much t.v. I'm going to try to stray away from reruns and only watch new episodes of shows like Scrubs. With my free time I want to get outside more and read more. Also, I am going to change from falling asleep to t.v. (I put a sleep timer on) and fall asleep to a cd.
Well, wish me luck!
I really want to stick with this. I have new goals and I'd say more willpower than before to stick with it.
Anyone have any advice?
