My mom revealed today that my grandparents watch The Young and the Restless every day. Now, my grandma watching a soap I can kinda see, but my grandpa? This guy from a small fishing village, who served in the navy during WWII, a retired hydro engineer, and your basic old grandpa type watches Y&R? He even complains that every Monday and Tuesday is jsut a recap of the week before. My mind, she is blown.
In other news, can't wait for Pen and the Sword. People are complaining that it's not an original idea but really, isn't it better than yet another incarnation of CSI or Law & Order? Plus how many real fantasy shows are out there? Beggars can't be choosers.
