Halloween review

I'm not sure where to start with Halloween. Is it the awesome cast? The the plot? Or even the great the Sound track? I guess I'll start with the cast. Rob zombie assembled an array of horror movie all stars. Richard Lynch, Sid Haig, Brad Dourif, Danny Trejo, Bill Moseley, William Forsythe, Ken Foree, and of course Malcom Mc Dowel as Dr. Samuel Loomis. Yes all these people in one movie, my fanboy sense went into too overdrive. Also, Tyler mane(X-men's Saber tooth) plays Michael Myers. Zombie took a whole new direction with Halloween and some people don't like it. This film is more brutal and just has less suspense. He wanted to make myers scary again and he did. In the original we see Michael as a kid for all of 10 minutes. In this version the first half of the film he's a crazy little kid. The second half naturally is grown up Michael. At that point the film takes a more familiar turn as he hunts his sister Laurie. Some of the deaths are similar but besides that it's a whole new ball game. This film is more like Devil's rejects then a Halloween movie, just go in knowing that. If you didn't like Zombie's style before you won't like it now. I personally love it and thought the movie was a brilliant roller coaster of mayhem. I went in tired but as soon as it started I was on the edge of my sweet. Not for the light of hear at all. Michael is brutal as he's ever been. "Evil on two legs" is back, and he's got a new style, and like I said some people don't like it, I'm just glad I didn't listen to whining fans saying it's like a Halloween movie, well, whatever. Why do people want to see the same thing twice? This is Halloween Rob Zombie Style, deal. The soundtrack is awesome as well, it includes stuff like Kiss, Nazareth, Blue Oyster Cult and Rush. My only question is, when is the dvd coming out?
