I know I've not updated in ages. And now I am only doing so to spam you all - sorry!
Whammy Bar (in St Kevin's Arcade on K'rd) have started up a new goth night and I am Dj/entertainment herding and, it seems, advertising it. If anyone has time and ability to help out with the graphic design it would be appreciated as I have neither the talent nor the time to make pretty flyers.
Anyway details:

http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=152146616204&index=1 So far the gigs have been really relaxed and fun and a bit nostalgic. They were on Thursdays but with a name like The Church (nothing to do with me) the Sunday option needs to at least be tried!
It looks like the November gig will be on the day of my birthday. I'm not yet sure how I feel about this but as it is important to me to get keep this going and try and get a regular night (i.e. third Sunday of every month or something) I suppose I'll just have to combine the two events.
Suggestions and comments welcome. I'm keen to know if the Thursday or the Sunday is a better option. If we can get a good regular turn out then there may be the option of moving it to a Friday or a Saturday later next year (but I suspect we would also have to do a cover charge - which would go to the bar).
Proper update to come.
