I am pretty glad I am back here. It has made me realised how detached I am with this place and it is time to reconnect. We might all know the hard facts - the number of people that live here, the GDP, the Gini coefficient - but what makes us think that just knowing them makes you a know-it-all of this story. Every story is not just a story, it is 7 million other stories, because each and one of us would be affected it by one way or another. A press release might just say we have 1.2 million people, but what is behind this press release is another 1.2 narratives. It is not easy to understand each and every one of them, but it is better than not caring and trying.
