The Nintendo E3 thing

Not sure what to think.
On the one hand, Nintendo in the past has a huge bag of tricks to pull from.
On the other hand, this feels like an even more gimicky Wii.
Please Nintendo, enough with the gimmicks. How about games with slow, subtle learning curves so that players of all difficulty levels and ages can pick up the game and jump into the worlds you create.
Instead of giving us extra toys that connect to the things that we are already using.
Some games can benefit from this, like Zelda maps can be on the controller screen at all times, or the inventory. Same for Metroid, and the like.

But I know what we will get instead of things that we should get.
Lots of mini games like Wario Ware that will use the screen for the sake of using the screen.
If you are going to give us a new toy, make it count. Please.
