So, in a fit of unexplained insolence, iTunes on my computer has randomly decided that it is going to operate exclusively at 48kHz. This means that all my music (which is pretty much all at 44.1kHz) gets played back slightly speeded up. Normally this would not matter, as I use Winamp primarily, but the tracks also get burned to cd like this, so it is actually affecting my life.
My solution? Burn the necessary cd as a data cd-rom, and play music on vinyl. I am so fucking 31337 and you know it.
