a rarity
So, here is a post about how I am a fucking dumbass.
Exhibit A: in my frenzy of cleaning my room (mostly to avoid doing programming homework), I may have accidentally thrown away my handmade knife from Spain. This pisses me off immensely. Not only is this thing awesome, it is (somewhat obviously) completely irreplaceable, at least short of spending $600 on a plane ticket and going back to this little hole-in-the-wall shop in Toledo where I bought it. Note that this shop may not exist for much longer (it's a family business and all the kids have gone on to more lucrative things).
[EDIT] The knife has in fact been found. In my laundry basket. But I'm still a dumbass (see exhibit b).
Exhibit B: I purchased tickets for the Lali Puna/Styrofoam/Alias/Go Find show at the Abbey Pub. I was absolutely certain that this show was on the 27th. So Byron and I were going to go, and it was going to be awesome. Except that it wasn't on the 27th. It was on the 22nd. I do not know how I made this mistake; this legitimately makes me question my sanity. Suffice to say that we missed the show.
That is all for now. I need to find some kind of catharsis or something, and get my head back on straight. This is getting ridiculous.
