I tend not to use LJ to talk about me or my real life, but life is being a crazy thing so I thought I would do a news update. I tend to post a weekly/bi weekly news update on my Deviant Art Journal, so here is this past months extract to show why I am not writting much.

July/August News-
Sorry my news updates aren't so regular anymore, been a rough month.
First, Charlie(the stray Queen cat I rescued form outside last month) gave birth. On July 16th, I woke up at 9:04am to a mewling under my bed. Between then and 6:45pm, I became the owner of 8 kittens. 5 orange cats (tabby and untabby) and 3 dark brown/black cats (one has a very white underside now, another a splash of white). I call them- Oranges- Rufus (He has extra toes) Reno, Nashville, Ambrosia and Isabella (last 2 are the only girls, Issy is gonna belong to a friend Megan when she gets a place next week). Blacks- Reeve (the runt as he didn't breath for like, 5 minutes after birth, and is the half white one), Sketch, and Vincent. Anybody notice the theme?

I got a surprise roommate on top of the kittens-a girl in the building (Megan) was kicked out by her mom and I'm letting her crash on the couch. Then my mom and her BF got in a fight, and she start sleeping over too. 3 adults, 8 kittens, one cat, all in a one bedroom apartment. It is crowded. Then, two weeks ago, my nan fell ill and was im the hospital. She is doing a bit better and has checked herself out inspite of Docs orders, but thats her choice. AND THEN the top floor of the building got bedbugs, and everyone had to empty all materials (clothes, towels, blankets, shoes, bags) out of their apartments and stay away for 4 hours as the building was pesticided.

Now everything is calmed down (as much so as my full house gets these days).

Anyone interested in kittens???

I wanna keep em all, but its not healthy to become a creepy cat person in your early 20's. And now I must go, because Reno is in the kitchen, and he is suppose to be in his den.

Also, I have gone and done another rare thing. I filled out an email/meme survey. I tend not to do them as myself, but use them to fill out character profiles. 12. Do you remember why / at what? One of the kittens started attacking things that aren't there.
    
13. What is on the walls of the room you are in? A picture I drew of a Utah Raptor, a picture I drew of a Coatl, one I did of a another monster. A photo tacked up with blue-tac of my niece on Santa's lap, a drawing my friend did for me, a wall scroll of Vincent Valentine from FF7 Advent Children, and a poster of a dragon.

30. What color is your bedroom carpet? Grey-brown.
    
31. If you could change something about your home, without worry about expense or mess, what would you do? I don't know more rooms....
    
32. What was the last thing you bought? Milk replacement for kittens and a Sprite.

34. Would you go bungee jumping or sky diving? No way.
    
35. Do you have a garden? I have a large assortment of plants inhabiting my kitchen.
    
36. Do you really know all the words to your national anthem? Yes. In English and French
    
37. What is the first thing you think of when you wake up in the morning? Using the bathroom.
    
38. If you could eat lunch with one famous person, who would it be? Hmmm...I don't know, I guess Seth Green.
    
39. Who sent the last text message you received? I had a cell phone (that worked) for about a week a few months ago. I think my friend Hayley sent me some Texts on it.
    
40. Which store would you choose to max out your credit card? I don't have a big balance avaliable on my card, and I use it to buy monthly bus tickets.
    
41. What time is bed time? 2am.
    
42. Have you ever been in a beauty pageant? Nope, never want to be either.

44. If you don't have any, have you ever thought of getting one? Yes, often.
    
45. What did you do for your last birthday? Hung around my house, did some shopping.

64. Is there anything going on this weekend? Not at my house. Sunday is scary movie night.
    
65. How are you feeling right now? Bit queasy, had a day old coffee.

68. If you had A Big Win in the Lottery, how long would you wait to tell people? I'd tell my mom and my bro's and my nan within the first few days, I guess. Might wait a bit, until I have figured out how to best divide out the money.
    
69. Who would you tell first? My mom, since she lives with me half the time.
    
70. What is the last movie that you saw at the cinema? I think it was Meet the Sparten's, but I might be wrong.
    
71. Do you sing in the shower? I don't shower, I tend to take baths, but yes.

74. What do you do for a living? Be sick.

76. What did you want to be when you grew up? At first, a farmer, then a vet, now I want to be a Sequential artist, or Character Designer.

78. Which came first the chicken or the egg? Egg, if you believe evolution, because the mother of the first true chicken would have been a few genes off from a chicken, but its egg hatched the next mutation in the line which was the chicken.
    
79. How many keys on your key ring? Four.
    
80. Where would you retire to? Hmmm....Not sure. Use to be New Orleans, but that was before everything happened.
    
81. What kind of car do you drive? Don't drive, but I like Thunderbirds, Camero's, and BMW's.
    
82. What are your best physical features? My body. Ha HA!
    
83. What are your best characteristics? I'm creative, I guess. Loyal?
    
84. If you could go anywhere in the world on vacation where would you go? Japan or England.
    
85. What kind of books do you like to read? Fiction, be it sci-fi, detective stories, fantasy.
    
86. Where would you want to retire to? Stop repeating yourself.
    
87. What is your favorite time of the day? Anytime from 6-10pm. Thats when good shows are on, the days quiet, and sun goes away.
    
88. Where did you grow up? Outside of the capital of New Brunswick, Canada.
    
89. How far away from your birthplace do you live now? Not far, I think it is like, 400 miles? Its a 4 hour drive, or 6 ½ or so bus drive.
    
90. What are you reading now? I'm reading a lot of things, about 6 different books. But the last one I was actually actively reading was Centaur Isle by Piers Anthony.
    
91. Are you a morning person or a night owl? Night Owl. Mornings are evil!!!!!
    
92. Can you touch your nose with your tongue? No, and why would I want too?
    
93. Can you close your eyes and raise your eyebrows? Yah.
    
94. Do you have pets? I have 8 f-in kittens!! Read my Devi Journal!
    
95. How many rings before you answer the phone? I hate phones. I don't own one, and I don't answer them when I do have them. Leave a message and I may return a call.
    
96. What is your best childhood memory? Tie between Catching Salamanders in the back 40, or that time we all went to Crystal Palace for a weekend and my brother accidentally stole another persons extra night slip, so mom let us stay on Monday instead of going home for school and we had the inside park to ourselves all day.
    
97. What are some of the different jobs that you have had in your life? Sobey's Cashier, Gardener for a Chiropractor, temp paperperson when my brother was to sick to do the route...that's it I guess.
    
98. Any new and exciting things that you would like to share? Hmm...I got 2 commisions for art. That's new and exciting I guess. And I finally got that English Ivy plant I wanted (an early B-day gift form Megan.)
    
99. What is most important in life? Being comfortable and happy.
    
100. What Inspires You? Nature, I guess.
