I got a notice in my email the other day about NaNoWriMo, and I'm thinking of giving it another shot. I tried last year and was off to a pretty good start, but then school happened, as it tends to during the month of November for anyone in college, and I had to stop after a week and a half or so. This year I'm not taking any classes, so as of the completion of my written exams on November 4th, I should be sitting pretty (or something resembling this). (Note: I do have oral exams about a week later, but I'm way more concerned about the writtens. I don't have mean people on my committee who would turn them into a torture session. Heck, they all had me write my own written exam questions.) So anyway, I've been thinking about it since I got the email reminder that it's coming up, and last night had a flash of an idea that I would like to work with, so I guess I'll give it another whirl and hopefully come at least closer to finishing this time.

Anyone else into writing may want to consider it, as well. (Pretty sure Marcie has participated at least once. Yo Jamie & Jo -- how bout it, guys?)
