Those of you without strong stomachs might not want to follow
this link. People do things like this to have something to talk about on the Web. The results are often amusing, as this is, but worrisome, too. And this from someone who is campaigning for everything but Holy Roman Emperor just to have something to talk about on the Web.
In other news, according to
Newsweek, Pope Benedict XVI is a really snappy dresser. I'm incredibly amused by the fact that a major news publication feels the need to discuss the Papal wardrobe, but also a little sad. As a history student (and as a Catholic), this makes me incredibly naive, I know, but Christianity is a religion of the poor, right? Someone's missing the point here. I'm not sure who, but I'm fairly sure it isn't me.
