Painting
So I started fixing up my room some more. I moved my bed over to the other side, put a turn table in over there, added a computer (which I'm going to switch out again soon for my laptop).
I just painted the stair case, one coat so far, adding the second one in a few minutes, letting it dry first.
I also chucked over 5 garbage bags worth of stuff. So a lot has been eliminated.
So the plan is to have this computer where it is (an electrical issue, it's on a dedicated breaker), keep the TVs and consoles in the same room, maybe move them around a bit, then add a couch into this room (the brown one). I'm hoping to either get a new desk or build one somehow. Probably buying one if the better option, but I want a corner unit to fit all of my stuff, keep a desk on one side and the computer on the other. I don't know if I can fit the couch and a corner unit in here though. I'll have to do some measurements. Also I'll have some storage in the extra space, as well as a refridgerator. I'll probably be taking down a lot of my posters. I'll probably pick one from each show to keep, and the two wall scrolls will be tossed as well. Although, I'll probably keep all the Naruto ones I have. The carpet is a tan color, dark green curtain seperators, and wood panel walls, with white tile ceiling (although I might remove them, or atleast replace them).
The other side will be my bedroom, the turntable, a computer, my bed, and adding in the dressers. The two bookshelf freestanding units, closet and built in shelving unit will be staying naturally. The carpet is blue in this room, with the same curtains and wood panel walls. I also have a bench (now a bedframe) and a shelf where my computer will be.
Under the stairs will mostly me storage, but I think I want to add a gloss white to make the light reflect better under there.
Finally in my last room I'll be adding some posters on the wall, moving my dad's stuff (hopefully) and cleaning up in general. I want to add my linux computer in there to use as a general tool for gaming. One couch in there and two tables (one round, one rectangular). I also want to be able to do my projects in there, and maybe run some shelves along the edge of the room.
The fruit cellar is a bit of a bane to me. I want to clean all of that out (with my mom's help) and move some of my dad's stuff into there after I fix the walls and window. That will be how I clean out the room back there, which is why it's important for me to clean it out to continue with my room.
The bed has been a major snag so far, but now we've finally figured out how it'll be (unfortunately it really sucks for storage space). I may rebuild a new frame from scratch to better fit and allow for more storage.
I want to get rid of the wood panels, but unfortunately, they're all that I have for a wall on one side going thru both rooms. Maybe I can cover them with something other than posters. Carpet my walls? Put up red velvet? I'll figure out something.
