I'm torn on what shoes to buy for spring/summer.
Help me people. Can I just say that I hate when my staple shoes wear out and I have to buy new ones. Its always so damn hard.
I'm looking for dressier, work shoes. They need to be on the conservative side because I have a fair amount of political functions in the future but one never wants to throw style completly out the window. I found these great Kenzie peep toe sling backs for more casual, (Let me just say these are the most comfortable summer heels I have ever, ever gotten. Not only are they wide enough, they are lined with cloth, so you don't get that leather/bare skin/sweat slimmy feeling.) yet you still need heels stuff. Now I just need the dressier black and brown ones.
So, the choices:
First off are the
Circa Joan and David Yamina pumps. I like the lacy. It feels light and cool. At the same time I keep thinking, "Didn't grandma have a pair like that?" Just without the heel.
Then there is the
Hype Bristle Pump. I really, really like the look of them, but I'm a little leary of patent leather in the summer. I have a fear of it feeling rather slimy to wear.
Next the
Stuart Weitzman Platsling Pump. I love this look, they look like something Ginger Rodger would have worn. Nordstrom doesn't have my size online, but the store said they could order them.
Lastly there is the
Corso Como Girlish Pump. These are kinda like the Circa pumps with the flowered cut outs, but I like that the motiff is brought onto the heel. Then again they aren't quite as classic looking, so I might have a problem wearing them for three years (which is usually how long my main seasonal shoes last.)
Help!!!
