I've been spending most of my time playing Sims 2 and Maple Story, and watching Law and Order.
Victor Marlowe (Mayor) and Kit Marlowe (sports star turned housewife) are parents to Kris, a straight A private school student who works part time at a hospital, and Vincent, an elementary school student who mostly likes playing cops and robbers. They live in a fucking gigantic house, don't own a car, and eat a lot of grilled cheese sandwiches.
My cleric is lvl 43 now. I'm playing her with Chad's spearman, which is awesome, because he has gazillions of hit points to heal all the time. I've had to cut back on my Mapleing following the injury of my left shoulder joint, and then the discovery that the cleric layout on my keyboard makes my left hand go numb.
With shame, I admit that I don't watch the original L&O very much now. Mostly, I stay glued to USA, watching for Criminal Intent episodes. It's important to me to first abduct and then elope with Vincent D'Onofrio, and since Annie says she heard they film near her, she's going to kidnap him for me. Since he's only a little over six feet and 200 lbs, she's pretty sure she can take him.
In just 10 days, Chad and I will fly out to see my family. It'll be the first time he's met any of them besides my dad and sister, and his first time in California, and his second time on an airplane. I can't wait to hug my mom and hug my dad and play with my little cousins Thomas and George and see Amanda and Alan and Sheridan for the first time in 10 years. We'll see how the rest goes. It's always a little stressful shuttling between the houses of family members and dealing with Mom's insanity and Dad's constant melancholy and Grandma's lack of anything to eat in the house except stale bread and cheese and crackers.
My favorite part of Christmas is picking out presents for everybody, and I'm happy to say I've finished the bulk of my holiday shopping and Amazon is now shipping lots of goodies to my mom's house for me to wrap when I get there. Dad and Mina are sending my presents to me here before I fly out so that Dad won't have to fly down with them from Oregon and I won't have to fly back with them to Georgia. I anticipate the usual assortment of organic candies, trial sized toiletries, and socks from Mina, and hopefully some books from Dad.
If anyone's curious, my amazon.com wishlist is here. It's a sexy mix of books, video games, DVDs, and household cleaning products. Unfortunately, after several crippling overdraft charges from BofA, I can't afford any presents for friends this year :(
I don't know what's wrong with me, but I can't get my heart into LARP lately. I don't think it's anything the STs are doing wrong, and I had some fun plots going with other players, but when it comes down to it I'd rather stay at home the past few weekends. Maybe I'm just tired of commuting out to Atlanta, or maybe I'm just tired in general. I'd like to take a good long break, but I don't feel like I can afford to lose everything I've built with Carson.

Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire B- Everyone needs haircuts. Not enough focus on the Neville Longbottom stuff.
The Plot Against America B A solidly good book, but not a very good Roth book. No moral challenges.
