JulesNY03: Brianna- how would you describe my eating?
Bree85: well, first off, i think its important to say that you and your
four friends eat similarly so his nausea is comforted by the fact that
you arent alone
Bree85: it starts off kind of slow, you know, he who paces himself wins
the race.. only, its not like a race because it has no end
Bree85: it starts with either something super salty, or ticklishly
sweet.. say, a greasy burger and fries, or a slice (or two) of cake with
a few scoops of ice cream. then, when that desire is satiated, you find
an instant craving for the opposite taste.. ie, if you had the fries,
youd crave something to offset the salty, like some sickeningly sweet
candy. at this point youre reallllly craving something, not because you
dont enjoy the first taste, but because it gives you reason to enjoy
somehting of the opposing flavor
Bree85: so you frantically search for something sweet, really, anything
that isnt healthy and slides down the tubes with minimal chewing will do
Bree85: so you find something, say some loose chocolate chips mommy
intended for cookies, a half-full, two week old moldy container of
vanilla frosting, or if you're lucky, a candy bar
Bree85: and you swallow it as quickly as possible, nearly climaxing at
the idea of the sweetness but not fully grasping the flavor because you
cant go slow enough to actually taste what you are consuming
Bree85: you feel accomplished and fulfilled for a moment or two, but
realise you arent nauseous yet and start to panic.. theres room for
more!!!
Bree85: so you search for something to bring you back to salty, and the
cycle continues for hours, until you end with something salty sweet like
kettle corn, which sort of neutralizes you for a bit
Bree85: then you go lay down on the couch for awhile unbuttoning your
pants with one hand (assuming you arent wearing super stretch sweats)
and channel surfing with the other, and after ten minutes the nausea
fades and you realize its time to start shoveling food in again as fast
as humanly possible
Bree85: and that, my friend, is what eating is like for us.
JulesNY03: LOL!!!!!!
Bree85: its a bit long, but so isnt the process
Thanks Brianna! I now understand myself on a whole new level!
