neglectfulness of my journal
I'd say that I was sorry for not posting more, but that would be a lie. I have nothing to say, no real updates to give - not that anyone reads them anyhow. :D
I had a wonderful time in California. I was throughly spoiled rotten, as were Dale and Sam. I didn't want to come back to Texas, but I knew that I had to. Right now, we're in the process of looking for jobs in California - since we want out of this sinkhole. Also, I don't want Sam going to San Antonio schools - they're crap - especially their elementary ones.
Work has sucked. But I'm just looking at it like this - the longer that I stay - the more sick time I will have accumulated. That way, when I do decide to quit, I can take off two-three weeks before hand and still be paid for it.
Dad gave us money for our anniversary, and we decided that this year instead of just squirrling it away and siphoning it off in little chunks, we were going to buy something big. So we did. We bought an XBOX360. Well, it's more Dale's present than mine, but I'm okay with that. I figured that I would just sell some stuff on eBay and some stock from work as well, so that I would have extra money for my IKEA trip.
All the bills are paid (well, aside from the phone - I keep forgetting about that one) and I'm looking forward to my trip to IKEA on the 21st. Christine and I are going, since we'll have the use of my dad's truck should we want to buy anything big. I may get a headstart on my Christmas shopping while I'm there - but if I were to do that, they would most likely be presents for me!

Based off what he's told me, I'm inclined to believe him. He told me to lock my journal so that you couldn't read it, but to be honest, I really don't care.
