long overdue update
I used to love my lj. I would update it multiple times a day, now it just seems like a bother. Then again, things are different now that I'm back on the west coast. I guess I'm not as lonely now, even though I have less friends here than I did in Texas. Maybe it's just the sense of being home and loving this place.
In random update news:
I bought Dale an ipod for father's day. I loved it so much, that I went and bought one, too. But mine is pink. So, nyeh! I've spent the whole morning uploading every song I can think of - but I still have room for a few hundred more. Ideas?
Work is great for once. It pays well, has excellent benefits, and is fairly laid back. This is so much better than slaving away at wal-mart.
Speaking of which, I haven't set foot in a wal-mart since I quit. It's great. I don't miss it. Besides, it's much nicer to give Target my money instead.
Dale works there now, so the employee discount is great as well. That's how I bought my ipod last night. :D
My mom is in town for a few weeks, so we're going to head to IKEA this weekend (even though I just went a week ago and bought my bed there!) I need to take something back that I bought, since it's not the right fit for what I wanted. I also need another bookcase, since my paperbacks are threatening to take over the entire living room. Grrrrr... I hate apartment living!
I guess that's a majority of what is going on right now. We're working on getting Sam ready for preschool, so we've been focusing on letters and numbers. She's picking up fast - if only potty training were working as well!
So that leaves me to leave you my lovelies!
