Never said whether I was or wasn't. As it stands, I'm optimistic about some things but too realistic to waste time hoping on everything else. I guess you could say I'm a little jaded.

I usually felt better about my intelligence when I was still bright eyed and eager about everything. Being blind to the way the world works makes you feel like you're in control of everything.
