The Day of Silence. "Actions Speak Louder then Words." Ok, fine. Maybe that's true. But wouldn't it, by that same logic, make more sense to fight with both actions and words?
Not speaking is a non-action. it doesn't help anyone if your silence "echoes the silence faced by" homosexuals and "their allies." It just makes everyone else feel really awkward. No one is going to change their views or opinions because you- or a hundred thousand kids- didn't talk today. If you want to get something done, you still have to do something, not just sit there and be silent.
