The Diviners was super good.  Great job to all those of you who were in it.  Except for a few people who thought they were all that and a bag of chips sitting in the row in front of me, everything was swell.

Losing our temper.  We're all guilty of it.  I'm not going to pretend that I haven't done this on countless occassions.  But really, what do you think someone's going to accomplish by being an rude about something.  In some cases, there is the shy person who will bow down under pressure and grovel at your feet.  But in all likeliness, the thing that is going to get a better reaction, most of the time is being polite.  Compare these two and tell me which one you would respond better to, with no attitude:

Senario:  Movie theatre with friends, you are trying to convey to your friend what the plot is and who the characters are.  Apparently you are being lounder than you mean to be.  Someone turns around in the row in front of you and says:

"If you want to enjoy the show, why don't you just shut up?"

OR

"I don't want to sound mean, but you are being a little loud, could  you please be a little bit more quiet?"

Really...so many people have attitudes nowadays.  Everyone seems to start and end everything in angst and drama.  Maybe we could all work the way we convey our emotions?
