Grace could tell it was a special day. Not only did the house smell really really good, but Mommy had dressed her in a really pretty dress too. And Daddy told her that both Dean AND Sammy were going to be coming over too

Dean would never admit it to anyone, but the whole have family dinner at the family house thing was really all he needed from any holiday. He was a little bummed some people he considered as close as family weren't able to make it, but knowing they were safe went a long way to muting any disappointment.
Besides, just the mental image of Bobby and Alec doing Thanksgiving together was enough to start Dean snickering.
He knocked on the door, then opened it and stuck his head inside. "Anybody home?"
Zoe almost missed the knock, but Grace's squeal was enough to alert her to the fact that someone else was at the door. "Dean, hi," she said, coming out of the kitchen. "Happy Thanksgiving."
"Same to you," Dean replied, bending down to big up his little sister who had attached herself to his legs. "And aren't you the pretty one today?" he said to her.
"I hadn't even thought about dressing her like me," Dean said, but a slow huge smile crossed his face. "She'd look awesome in a little leather jacket, wouldn't she?"
