Grace could tell it was a special day. Not only did the house smell really really good, but Mommy had dressed her in a really pretty dress too. And Daddy told her that both Dean AND Sammy were going to be coming over too

As much as Sam wished Peter could have stayed here for Thanksgiving, the lack of boyfriend was not going to get him down today. He was going to be spending a family-oriented holiday with his family in their family home, and no, that wasn't going to get old any time soon. He was all smiles as he got to the door and knocked.

The knock on the door, immediately got Grace's attention and she made a beeline for it on mostly steady toddler legs.

Figuring that everyone was in the kitchen, Sam went ahead and opened the door, letting himself inside and grinning when he saw Grace. "Hey you!" he said, crouching down. "Don't you look pretty today."

Grace squeed loudly and ran over to hug Sammy's legs.

If Sam had been in a bad mood, he was pretty sure Grace would have fixed it by now. He reached down to try to grab her off of his legs and pick her up.

Grace squealed with joy and wrapped her arms around Sammy's neck as soon as she could. "Sam-MEEE!"

"Graaaaace!" Sam replied, laughing and holding her tight. "Are you ready for Thanksgiving? And the turkey, and the pie?"

"Pie!" Grace agreed, proving that she was taking after one of her older brothers.

[psychic_wonder]

"Uh oh, Dean already got to you, didn't he?" Sam said. "That's okay, there's still a chance you can be saved. Can you say 'green bean'?"

Grace seemed to think about that for a moment, then grinned and said, "Pie!" again.
