Clearing in the Preserve, Sunday afternoon
"I think this will do," John said, putting down the bag of weapons at the edge of the clearing. "We can set the targets up over there."
It was, for all intents and purposes just another Winchester target practice session, like the kind they used to do much more regularly when they were on the road. But John had another reason for bringing the boys out here, something he needed to talk to them about that would be much easier to do if they were all doing something.
He just hoped the conversation wouldn't be as awkward as he feared.
