At some point over the course of the evening, a shadowy figure slipped past the group and snuck into the kitchen in the hopes of avoiding notice.

Even anarchistic icons have to eat at some point. Which was why V was surreptitiously inspecting the pantry.

Dean came back into the kitchen in search of a second piece of pie, and stopped short when he saw the dark figure. "Uh, sorry. Didn't know anyone was in here."

V turned, cape swooping with the movement, and studied Dean. "Good evening. By all means, don't mind me."

"Right." Dean eyed the figure doubtfully but continued over to where the leftover pie sat. He felt eyes watching him and glanced back at the... mask. Well, it wasn't the weirdest thing he'd seen in Fandom. "I'm Dean Winchester," he introduced himself. "John Winchester's my Dad -- I'm here visiting him."

"Ah," he said. "I'm called V. I am to teach Criminal Justice. I believe you're on my roster."

"Yeah, I am," Dean said, looking at V with more interest. "The description looked really interesting."

V inclined his head. "Thank you. Is it an area that especially interests you?"

[saltandammo]

"Yeah. Although, I have to admit, I probably come at it from a slightly different angle than most people. I... uh... sometimes the laws kinda get in the way of what has to be done and I, uh, kinda have to ignore them."

V chuckled. "Violence can be used for good, and rules are occasionally meant to be bent," he agreed. "You're fortunate to have discovered that on your own."

Dean grinned. "Okay, now I know I'm going to like your class."

V quirked his head. "Do you have the time or inclination to be a teacher's assistant, Dean?" he asked thoughtfully. "I don't have one as of yet and it's my understanding that such a person might be useful."

"Really?" Dean asked, flattered at the offer. "Yeah, sure, thanks."

"I'll mark it down and alert the administrators," V said, selecting a jar of peanut butter and some crackers. "It should be an interesting term, to say the least."

"That I don't doubt." Dean cut himself a piece of pie, then hesitated and asked, "You want a piece?"

V paused. "What kind is it?"

"Apple. My brother and I made them this afternoon."
