pretty good day

well my spring break has officially started. i got hom yesterday at 7 and mom dad amy and i went bowling. it was fun. this morning amy and mom had to go to district but dad and i went bowling again. i did so bad. amy and i went to universal at 7 for the mardi gras bash. we weren't sure if we were going to be able to get on a float and chad was in the back checking when a guy walked up and asked if we were going to be on the floats. at first i thought he was hitting on us so i said we weren't sure and he pulled out two wristbands and handed them to us saying that he had them extra. it was awesome. they weren't the standby ones but the absolute wristbands so we were definitely riding. chad said that was cool because we weren't going to be able to go otherwise. i couldn't stop thanking this guy. it's cool to find that there a nice people in the world. they're rare but nonetheless they are there. the just seem to pop up every once in a while. so amy and i got on the Seti float and we had a lot of fun. our staff guy was so cool and gave all the kids (amy, a girl probably about 13, she was cool, and two older ladies) little shamrock ear headbands, and the "chaparones", me the girls mother and the ladies husbands, green beads with a shot glass on them. it was so awesome. then he told us that whomever was the most spirited and did the best job would win his huge necklace. one of the guys one but we had so much fun with these people. we had so many beads to throw. all the hooks were filled and there were like ten boxes behind us. i was throwing handfuls at a time and we dtill had three boxes when the parade was over. it was so much fun. he said we could take home any beads we wanted so i took home the cool new beads, one in every color, so did amy. but i still had my one with the shotglass that made me cool. it was an all over good night. i've decided that this springbreak i will catch up on movies, seeing as i had a list to go by. i watched Pieces of April and Trainspotting today. they were both sooooooooooo awesome. everyone needs to see them both. i also rented Magnolia, This is Spinal Tap, and Elizabeth so i'll tell you how they go. tomorrow is the first baseball game i get to go to. young Chris will be accompaning me and i hope he'll have fun. i can't wait i know that. we'll see and i hope the braves win. woohoo ok, wow long entry. guess i'll say goodnight, and i hope michelle and mike are being good. =)
