You are tired! You are true of heart!

Hoppy-hoppy-hoppy Easter! Here is how we celebrated in my universe - woke up, cooked a Tofurky and went to my mom's. Lots of food, which my parents made us take home. Went to Stephen's sister's house, where I was attacked with love by two dogs and then watched Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. Jayne (one of Stephen's sisters) lent us a zillion movies, so we watched Death Race when we got home. Nothing says Jesus like a movie about extremely violent and explosive car racing. Yeah!

Stephen got all grumpy today when he realized that I already bought that purple coat that I wanted. His thing isn't so much that I am ignoring Project Buy Less Stuff, it's that I show him things on the internet that I want, and then I buy them for myself before he has a chance to get them for my birthday or whatever. I assured him that I will probably want more things by the time August rolls around, but it was of little comfort. My argument is that the things I want are generally web-shopping-based since I hate malls, and it's mostly limited stock, so I MUST HAVE IT RIGHT NOW. Not on my birthday! And what am I going to do all spring without a purple coat? I can't use a purple coat in August! After much discussion, I decided that I am now on Project Buy No Stuff. The challenge is that I'm going to see if I can buy NOTHING until my birthday (excluding anything I actually need, like a toothbrush or new glasses or something). If I succeed, I am treating myself to the sexy noise-cancelling Bose headphones I want. Wish me luck!

Socks of the Day!

And more socks from last week:

Space socks! Oh yeah.

Slytherin and Griffindor. Notice that Slytherin is on my left foot. Also, that is Joon's paw in the upper corner.

I love the green and purple ones. Sigh.

The colours with these got a little messed up. They're olive/black and red/white.

Sock love! The first time Stephen came into the living room and saw me taking pictures of my socks, he was like, "What are you- never mind." Sometimes I wonder what it's like to live with me.

Secret of the Day: I am already exhausted just thinking about all the stuff I have to do tomorrow. Get up, work out, do a load of laundry, clean the bathroom, do some schedules for the shop and be ready to go see Fast and Furious by the time Stephen gets home from work. Okay, that doesn't sound like a really full day to normal people, but to a person accustomed to sitting on her couch watching Veronica Mars on her days off, it's like an entire week crammed into eight hours.

new project!, socks, buy less stuff, pictures, shopping, adventures in demonland
