Paradise Lost
GSA meeting today. Next Wednesday is the Day of Silence, which we actually got permission for and are going to be able to do this year, Yeay! Laur keeps making a big deal like, "Ooh, it's gonna be so hard for you and me!"
I don't know about her, but I actually think I'm not going to have that hard a time. I can be a real blabbermouth sometimes, but with years in my history of not having any friends at school, I have a lot of practice at being utterly silent and going off inside my head.
Now just you watch. That'll be the day I really have something to ask/share in class.
I must mention, with every day this week having been two straight hours of Kim Possible and an hour of Static Shock, I've been having a real toon-gasm this week. I'm all warm and gooshy inside...
And hey, new Lost episode tonight! In which someone may die! And Claire is supposed to give birth! In like, fifteen minutes!! I'm excited! Are you excited?! *grins like a crazy person and hyperventilates*
Well, ok, actually, two things I'm none-too-pleased about. One, there's a two (three technically, since we're getting that thing about some of the major backstories on the 27th inside of an actual episode) week hiatus after this...gyaaah!!
Second, it's yet another Jack episode. Okay, WTF?? Jack has had two episodes, plus he's one of the three people we actually got to see the POV of during the plane crash. For chrissakes, Claire is giving birth and Boone is possibly dying; wouldn't an episode with some of their flashbacks be a titch more appropriate?! Especially since they've both only gotten one?! Arrgh...!!
I'll try to cope. I just hope the Jack-backs in this episode are more probative and relevant than the Charlie-backs in "Homecoming".
...And that maybe Sawyer has at least a scene in here somewhere. Yes. (His five sec shot in the preview, to me, either indicates those damn trailer monkeys are screwing with us again and he's barely in the epsiode, OR that his scenes are too important to be shown in the preview because they show too much. Knowing my luck, it's the first one)
