What Movie Is Your Christmas Most Like?
Gift-wrapped from 11am to almost 2pm in the bookstore today..the things I do for my AFS club, sigh. Then I finished up my Christmas shopping. Slippers for cousin, cologne (plus gift reciept, cus really I had no clue) for uncle, book for aunt, and a coffee mug ("My cat walks all over me") for Mom. Wrapped 'em when I got home...after treating myself to a venti Peppermint Mocha at Starbucks. Damn, did I need that.
I also worked on "Damned & Devoted" a bit, and looked at some fics on ff.net. I really need to stop looking at their Van Helsing section...there is nothing I want to read there. Yet I keep going back...it's like a bugzapper. I did, however, find some worthwhile stuff for "Lost" and "NCIS"...
But now I'm really depressed because I found, like the best NCIS fic EVER...but no one I know also watches NCIS, so I have no one to share the joy with.
Excuse me while I go look into some LJ communities...
I got no less than three letters from Mercyhurst today...I think they just wanna make absolutely sure I know I've been accepted. Blah...not going there, no matter what they say. I also got a letter from Pitt.
I'm in.
My college of choice (the state university for a completely diffrent state, no less) has accepted me...and I don't think I can go. Unless I get a financial aid/scholarship miracle to make that extra $1,000 or so yearly diffrence, AND Dad decides Pittsburgh is a safe enough city after all, it definately looks like OSU for me.
Sigh...
