Saving the Drama For Your Mama
Well, today was...dramatic.
First, I had a Drama Club audition for the fall play. It's a murder mystery farce called "While the Lights Were Out". I read for three diffrent roles...here's hoping I make callbacks. Although I won't know until Thursday... *finger cross*
As for the other thing that happened today, well...some of you guys may have noticed an, er, interesting little development that happened in the comments section of my last post yesterday.It seems that a friend of one of my friends found his way to my LJ through hers and replied to my post out of "sheer boredom". My friend was understandably upset with his stalker-esque weirdo behavior and told him off. She's no longer very happy with him; I think she's unfriending him right quick. In the meantime, I deleted his thread from my comments and banned him from my journal.
I finished Dragon Rider and now I have to read some chapters of that Wuthering Heights book for BritLit. Blah...judging from what I know about it I think it's gonna be another soap-opera-in-print business like Return of the Native. Gag me with a spoon...
On a somewhat scary, somewhat amusing note, the whole Beowulf and Grendel thing has been a plot basis for the last two Xena eps. (GAH!! HE'S EVERYWHERE!! I CAN'T ESCAPE!!)
In other news, I still need to figure out what I'm going to do for a costume on Halloween this year...
