I really like the word "paramour". I don't think I've ever used that word in my writing before though.
I wonder if I could find a way to work it into my next fic?
In my next Dollhouse fic?
EDIT: Well, now, crap. Somehow that thought crossed in my head with my earlier post today about how one of my favorite fairy tales is Puss in Boots, and how there's this fad I like of people in different fandoms taking fairy tales and writing fic that's basically the fairy tale story adapted to the fandom's universe and/or characters and retold.
And earlier I was thinking "Well, I don't think I've ever seen anyone do that for Puss in Boots, I wonder if I could?" (because people usually seem to go for the princess stories when they do), and then I was thinking "Well, I haven't seen any fully retold fairy tale adaptations for Dollhouse yet", and of course the two thoughts collided in my head...and then somewhere in there got also mixed my prediliction for crack, my beloved Dominic/DeWitt pairing, and the phrase "soft like a kitty". *FACEPALM*
But, there's no way I could possibly pull that off, right?
*thinks about it some more*
