Fanvid Recs For SciFi Fans
Two great vids I've seen lately that I wanted to pass on to those of you that might be interested:
Star Trek XI:
Circus by butterfly
Kirk's a "put on a show" kind of girl (oh, you know he is). New Star Trek movie; all about the self-aware awesomeness of Jim T. Kirk - yes, to a Britney Spears song. It's kinda scary just how well it all works. (Use of certain lyrics WILL make you lol.)
Stargate Atlantis:
Liquid Bird by hollywoodgrrl
A final farewell to the Team and the City that changed them all forever. Once again, I don't even watch SGA, but hollywoodgrrl makes a vid that really makes me want to. Sprawling and epic and beautiful, with seamless timing and use of musical cues in ways that simply must be seen to be believed.
