One good thing I've discovered about having your story so thoroughly worked out in advance insofar as to the timeline: even when you're feeling completely out of it, creatively, you can still sit your ass on down and force yourself to push your way through it with the writing, because at the least you still know what's supposed to happen when and where. (You can always go back and edit it into semblance of niceness later. Hopefully.)
Forgot to mention earlier, my BPAL purchase showed up on Monday, finally.* I am loving 13 - which is good considering I had to buy the "bigger" vial. It's strong but not too strong, and it doesn't seem to go all "weird" on me after a bit, or give me an eventual headache. IDK on the whole "13 scents" thing, though...all I can really smell on me is chocolate and cherry (with a hint of "something"; possibly part of the problem here is that I'm really not versed enough in the fine art of perfumery to really know what I'm smelling). Which basically means it smells like a cherry cordial, which...with me, is not necessarily a bad thing.
The two freebies that came with it were Belle Epoque and Snake Oil. I've already tried Belle Epoque, and I enjoyed it...I'm a little uncertain of it, though, because I can't really describe what it smells like or even why I like it. Plus I think it might have irritated my sinuses later on in the day; I think I'd have to wear it again to be sure. Haven't tried Snake Oil yet. For some reason I'm wary of this one. It's been awhile since I looked at that part of the site, but I think there was something in the description I wasn't too fond of the idea of. Guess we'll have to see.
So here's a question for all you Big Kid real-world afficiandos out there. Saying "I am willing to move anywhere" when looking for a job: good idea or bad idea in this market?
*Considering when I bought it, I was totally expecting it to arrive sometime over spring break. Little did I stop to consider it would have to be routed through all of California first.
