Dollhouse 1x03: "Stage Fright"

Okay, so I've been a very bad girl in regards to my tv meta as of late. Trying to make up for that now.

Part of the reason I've been so hesitant to comment on Dollhouse is that it seems like a lot of people on my flist haven't been liking this show. Whereas I...am really, really loving this show.

I mean, I get that the premise is creepy as hell ( Read more... )

lol, when they said they should put Echo in the attic, I immediately said "NO DON'T BOX HER!" haha.

See, I have my doom goggles on for the Echo & Sierra relationship. I'm almost certain they will become nemesises...es...es(?)

Not sure about the Russian now that you've brought that up. My guess is he was programmed all along once word got back that some agent was asking around...

I agree with you about the whole re-programming aspect being fascinating, especially in the hands of Joss. Probably why I'm still hanging in there to see where it all goes (though, warning, the ratings are dropping more and more each week so it might be a too late to save the show)

I dunno, I'm trying to stay positive about Echo and Sierra. Mainly because I don't really see how they could set up to be nemesises (...nemisi?) in any fashion. Unless one of them went rogue, but I don't really see that happening with Sierra, so it would have to be Echo, and that doesn't really work either because she's the protag. Unless she goes rogue by means of somehow escaping, and then she'd probably take Sierra with her. So.

I may or may not be looking for an excuse/opportunity to slash those two. I'm just saying.

Gah, that would suck. It's like once he made Buffy Joss Whedon was never allowed to have a successful tv show ever again :\

On a side note, Martin and I have both been watching dollhouse and enjoying it immensely. :) I was definitely not expecting the Victor reveal and I guess I'm not a complete BSG geek yet because my first reaction to dolls in the attic was a bunch of girls not moving on doll stands and sending Laur up there to freak her the hell out. *evil giggle* I'm just evil like that ( ... )

Considering how blase Sierra's handler was in implying that the old Sierra was KIA, I'm thinking that the casualty rating on these guys is pretty high. Plus, there's that time Alpha went crazy and killed half a dozen of them at once...

You need to call me or something. I miss you!
