Don't Sweat the Petty Things (or Pet the Sweaty Things)

Petty annoyances du jour:
1. Too lazy to dry my hair this morning, so the ends of one side are curling in while the others are curling out.
2. Period has started, and my face is in full flare-up mode.
3. Almost late to my Spanish final this evening. Juuust made it in by about two minutes.

But, the good news:
1. Aforementioned Spanish final was the last one, so I'm out of here tomorrow afternoon. Plus I think I did okay.
2. While I feel sufficiently less okay about my Biology final, I have at least enough confidence that I earned enough points overall to pass the class and not have to retake it.
3. My keys that went missing, um, awhile ago, finally turned up at the place I went to see Rocky Horror at. And the nice manager says they'll hold them in the safe for me until I get a chance to pick them up. Well, that certainly saves me the money/trouble of having to have them replaced.

In other more random bits of news, I got a comment today on an ancient (three-ish years?) unfinished godawful Lost slash fic I'm frankly ashamed to admit I ever churned out. I think I'm gonna ignore it (the comment was actually positive, in case you're curious) but I'm half-tempted to reply just to ask "Dude, how the heck did you find this??" Ah, the internets. Where nothing is ever forgotten.

Anywho, in case you didn't figure it out from the listings above, I've finished yet another quarter at this fine institution. So, you know the drill: I'm off again to the realm of the bad dial-up connection (and, you know, friends and family I only get to see when I'm home again) so expect some quietness from this corner of the 'nets for the next week or so.
Though I do still plan to try getting on at least a little bit...I have my other bsg_slashathon entry due, for starters. Plus some other fic projects I really want to try and work on while I have the theoretical free time.

But in any case it might be a little while before any of you hear from me, so until then everybody stay safe, take care of themselves and have fun. Here's hoping our paths next cross to find us all in good health and with interesting (but not dangerous-interesting) stories to tell.

And try not to build up too much of a fic backlog for me this time, huh? ;P

vacation, real life, period, college, good news
