A Life Without Worry
Thanks to the fact that Ohio is currently experiencing the Be All and End All of Blizzards right now, all classes were canceled after 1:30 at OSU today!!
Totally awesome for my friend captaintoasty, who turned 19 today! What birthday present...snow and no classes!
After we got lunch, we walked past Mirror Lake which, as it has been for past week or so, was frozen so solid that students were walking all over it.
Well, not only were people wandering all over it, there was this group of three guys that were actually using the thick layer of snow that had gathered on top of the ice to build a snowman.
We ended up joining in. Two other girls helped, and this guy practicing his ice hockey moves helped us fend off attacks from some random guy who was chucking snowballs from up on the hill. By the time we were done, there were these two human-sized snow...things...with people-shaped bodies, deformed faces, and one of them had moose antlers while the other had mouse ears. Oh, and they were totally holding hands.
At which point, the cops showed up. With a bullhorn. And yelled at us all to get off the ice, because it supposedly wasn't as thick as it seemed and wasn't safe to be standing on.
It was pretty funny.
Then I went to KC's and watched an episode of MST3K with her and Walt ("Man, this movie just hates anteaters!"), and then the beginning of Eddie Izzard's Dressed to Kill ("The biggest henge in all the world.")
Tonight's NCIS was good, if the deal at the end was a bit...contrived. But the rest of it was sweet. I especially loved McGee going into the club all superfly with Abby, Ziva and Lee.
Speaking of Lee...well, her and Palmer are quite the little sex-fiends, aren't they? Can't wait until they get caught. You know they will. Hee!
Tonight's House was amazing. And a pairing bonanza...House/Cuddy, House/Wilson, Chase/Cameron...plus, the case was pretty darn interesting too.
And everyone's talkin' bout sex...where to get it, why to have it, who to have it with...fun. Just lots and lots of fun.
So, yeah. My day was pretty darn good.
