ZOMG, Money!!

Classes went pretty okay today. It looks like, for now at least, Math 151 will be spending time reviewing what we just learned in 150.
And Japanese should be good, since it looks like the section I'm taking has a few nice (IE geeky) people in it. The guy in front of me has a bag with two anime pins on it, one of Ed and Ein from Cowboy Bebop and another of Sesshomaru from Inu Yasha, and when I went to Oxley's next door to buy lunch I ran into two more people from the class, a guy who was wearing a Green Lantern shirt and his friend, a chick wearing stripey fingerless gloves.

Tomorrow is my first Tai Chi class. At 8:30 in the morning. Groansville.

Also, I've been fiddling with the userpics (yes, again)...deleted about ten old ones and added a whole bunch more. If you care to, check them out. Anything after the Love Actually one, I just added those today.

I think if I have time, I'm gonna make a new mood theme. Not sure of what yet, though. And I'm definitely keeping an eye put for a new banner...something to go with a different color scheme, I think. Not that I don't love my current LJ layout, but you know. I still think I'd like to see something new anyway.

But onto the really exciting news:

Today I went book shopping with three of my suitemates (followed by grabbing dinner at Mirror Lake and then going to the RPAC for swimming, hot tub, and smoothies).
Now...I'm already looking pretty good for textbooks this quarter, since I don't need any new books for Japanese or Anthropology. I just had to buy a Calculus book for Math.

But! When we were at College Town, and Patricia was looking at books for her Math class something suddenly clicked in my brain: "Wait...you're taking Math 150?? I had that last quarter, and I haven't sold the book yet!"

So since the cheapest she could find it for was eighty bucks used at College Town, I sold her mine for sixty dollars. In cash. Which she gave to me when we got back to the dorm.

Oh yeeeeah. Big money. I am so buying BSG Season 2.0.
