A stand-up comedian I was watching the other day pointed out that if there is a Hell, there's no way the Devil is a Southern woman, because with that accent, no one would ever take them seriously:
"Hiii, welcome tah Hell! I'm gonna setcha on fire in a minute, but first, I made ya some pie!"
In other news, I still hate math with the passion of a thousand fiery supernovas.
But after spending two days straight reviewing problems and formulas, I think I might have actually done a decent (dare I even say good?) on my second midterm. Plus, I was able to do three out of four homework problems for tonight's assignment with relative ease.
So for possibly the first time this quarter, I have actual confidence that I might be able to pull off a C in that course after all. Yay!
Of course, the two day hiatus I forced upon myself from all things internet in order to get said studying done leaves me with a lot of catching up to do. Oh well, c'est la vie.
I tried to donate blood the other day, but apparantly my hematocrit was 1% too low for them to accept it. Which is kind of irritating, considering I gave blood, like, 4 or 5 times last year, so I know it's not a regular thing.
Of course, next week is The Coming of the Crimson Tide, so that might explain it. Still, I'm going to spend the next two days bulking up on beef and broccoli and then try again on Thursday.
Finally, for those of you that know me, you should know one of the major things about me is that I am not a sports fan. At all. I don't even know how football works.
However, I also happen to go to Ohio State University. And they have this, oh, what's the term? "Friendly rivalry"...with another school, known as Michigan.
Who they happen to be playing this weekend. And it's a home game. And both football teams have been undefeated so far.
And I live right next to the stadium.
...This could get interesting.
Oh God, oh God, we're all gonna die.
