My weekend actually went pretty good. I did a lot of staying up until ungodly hours of the night and sleeping in until equally ridiculous hours of the day. I sort of blew off my homework, but luckily I think I've managed to catch up over the past two days.
Also, there was a party in celebration of the fact that my dorm, Morrill Tower, has apparantly been a fond if somewhat ghastley public eyesore for 41 years now and has yet to fall down. So
skylark913 came over (she doesn't even live in the Towers, ha!) and watched The Stepford Wives (newer one) with me and then we went on down to the lobby. It was silly good fun; they had the little kiddy cardboard cone party hats and blowers, and we played Twister and connect four and colored pictures. And there was cake. Cake is good.
And tomorrow it looks like I'll be getting in on a new D&D campaign (crossing fingers for better luck than the last two I've tried to join). Also, tonight's NCIS was pretty good.
But you know what really makes me happy?
Jon Stewart is coming on the 28th, and I've got a ticket!!!
Yep, it turns out The Daily Show gang will be putting on a free show for students at the Schott...yesterday there was a line out the door for people getting free tickets a the Union. I was sure they'd all be gone by tonight but, well, the Schott is huge. So I checked anyway. Squee.
