OK, I think I'm actually just going to spell this out because I don't know if I'll get a chance to really go into it in the series or not...
Cassidy, as I'm sure you recall, is 2000+ years old. She has, however, only six fledglings (counting "Antony"). By vampire standards, that's downright bizarre; she could have turned a regular army of vampires by now. Also, unlike most vampires, she doesn't choose her fledglings because she was attracted to them, in love with them, because there was something about them she particularly admired, or whatever. She turned them all because she saw...or rather felt...a certain something about them that made her think they would make a good vampire. Only one out of her five older fledglings has died, and all of them are powerful vampires for their respective ages. There, Tony has a lot of promise...all signs indicate that, once he has a few centuries under his belt, he's going to be a force to be reckoned with. The vampire hunters are just trying to nip this one in the bud while it's still young.

At least it wasn't as bad as Tooms, the stretchy guy.
OMFG, "Squeeze"...!! One of the freakiest episodes ever on that show, I swear. *shudders at the memories*
Ah yes, I think I saw that rec once before. Whee, recs! They make me happy (though her comment about my username...heh, I don't know to be amused or insulted).
