Apparently, Grindhouse didn't do well enough in the theaters over the Easter holidays. Thus, the idea of splitting them up as individual releases has come up. It doesn't bother me that much, as they will hopefully re-add the missing reels (which I thought was a nice touch by the way). But it knocks away some of the nostalgia of the double feature.
Then again, reports are that the length of the movie was a problem for people. Why can't people just sit down and watch two movies back to back anymore? Are we that ADD!?

But seriously, if it happens, I'll go see them again. And buy the movies when they come out. They're good.
