Thanksgiving
We had Thanksgiving at Mom's and Dad's house this year. Tons of yummy food :) Learned how to play this interesting Western based card game that Harold brought over. My niece is walking around like a little champ! :D She's so adorable - Mom and Dad say she looks like me at that age. @_@ She's a sweetie-pie, and hopefully her parents will let her walk on her own a little more.
Keith's birthday was Thursday but had his Thanksgiving with family, so Friday I made him a Autumn cake (maple syrup flavored) for his birthday. Dar and his new gf Leah came down Friday afternoon as well, and I believe we grilled steaks. Keith made his artery clogging mashed potatoes and it was tasty.
Saturday I think we slept in really late... cause Mommy and Dadda were coming down for dinner and Dadda hadn't seen the house in a while. Mommy made ynuk-beng (basically a meat pie) made of pork and water chestnut, soy sauce, sesame oil and a leetle salt. Oh so tasty with fresh water chestnuts! Also had some pork chops with an apple marinade, and cabbage. Very nice well rounded tasty meal.
Sunday we did a little shopping, found some sponges, body wash and some very nice toasty slippers.
Dar and Leah left this morning right after I went to bed around 530(am).
Today was hellish as we had a bunch of people come to do repairs around the house. So I ended up only getting about 5 hours of sleep. ;p
Anyway I ought to be doing something I'm sure, so I'm off!
