Mommy Moment
Look at this, two posts in one day. The world is probably about to end or something *grin*.
Anyway, on to my mommy moment. Tonight I finally realised my baby is all growed up. I've always known Timmy could sing. He's been in choir since the 4th grade and when he hit high school he even chose singing over taking a language. I haven't been to a concert of his since freshman year because he never wanted me there. It used to hurt but hey, if that is what he wanted *shrug*. This year he's been working on his own group, they sing Acapella and have been rehearsing since January. I hear Timmy sing everyday, but I guess I mostly just tune him out cause hey, being woken up to him singing America the Beautiful at 6 am while he's sitting on the can is not my idea of a good morning. Soooo, tonight I go to his school's Acapella night and his group is up right after the main event, the Jackson Jills from Tufts U (who are great btw). So Timmy and his little group of 5 get up on stage and there is my baby leading them and can I just say wow, he blew me away. My husband and I looked over at eachother and where like where the hell did that come from. The little shit made me cry, I'm such a proud mommy right now :) I can't wait for him to get home so I can cry some more and make him blush and tell him how proud I am!!
