Truly becoming something special.

Sure this might not seem like that big of a deal, but I got accepted as a recruit for an end-game instance guild, and even went on my first raid tonight. I'm very happy to finally be with a group of players who are at my skill level. Dave it appears I'll be passing you up in gear pretty soon :-D ( Read more... )

As usual, I appreciate your interest Nate.

However the argument you presented is equally flawed as anything else in the world. Yes I can see many of those things as problematic, and I do agree with some, but it is merely an investigation. Assumptions are made in that article, as they are made when fact cannot be procured. It does say to make your own investigation though, and that is what I am doing.

In speaking with her, she did emphasize those points stated in the article, and upon asking more I could probably evoke the actual duties required of them (the orders from their superiors) from her. One thing that I did notice is the astounding devotion, which could lend to it's assumed cult status, however in the right light, that could be seen as advantageous.

Simply put, all religions have flaws, heavy heavy flaws. To single out Mormonism as the single most worthless or flawed would be foolish. It's simply a matter of what flaws I am willing to live with and those which I am willing to accept. I'll be speaking with her again one of these days. It's actually funny as she told me that one of her ex boyfriends told her that he only listened to her because he liked her, and must have gotten freaked out or something. My religious tolerance is probably the only thing that allows me to listen. Regardless (or Irregardless for you Emerald fans) I'll be careful about this, you all know I'm not the kind of person to get drawn into something I can't handle.

:-D
